We’re here to tell you that if you’re craving for pristine turquoise waters and unending white sand beaches dotted with palm trees, you don’t need to step out of India, simply head over to the beautiful Andaman Islands – India’s own tropical paradise!

From mud volcanoes in the Baratang, to limestone caves of Diglipur, from the multicultural town of Port Blair to the pristine white beaches of Neil and Havelock Islands and from giant turtle nesting grounds to the abundant marine life in the coral reefs beneath the pristine blue sea, this archipelago of more than 300 islands has something for everyone!

So here’s the itinerary as promised-

Day 1 -

Start your island exploration from Port Blair - the capital city of Andaman Islands, where squeaky clean roads run alongside the scenic coastline, giving you the perfect reason to hire a motorbike to explore around the city!

Starting with a visit to a building with great historical importance - the Cellular Jail, where every brick would tell you the stories about our freedom fighters who were imprisoned and subjected to inhumane torture under the British Raj!

From there you could head over to Chatham Saw Mill because buddy this is Asia’s oldest saw mill!!

Post lunch take a short boat ride to Ross Island where you could either explore the ruins or walk on the beach and enjoy the beautiful sunset and later watch the Light and Sound show.

Day 2 –

The following morning you could hop on a ferry, making your way through waters that turn multiple shades of blue, to reach the pristine Wandoor Beach and Jolly Buoy Islands. This is the perfect place to go snorkeling and observe the vibrant corals and rich underwater life!

End the day with a view of the beautiful sunset from Chidiya Tapu!

Day 3 –

Last but not the least, we must mention that the treacherous journey through the Jarawa forest to reach Baratang to see the limestone caves, mud volcanoes and parrot island is definitely worth it, especially because of the boat ride through the mangrove forests that you must take to reach the caves!

Day 4 – North Andaman

The northern part of the island is a relatively less explored part because of the 12 hour journey from Port Blair, but as they say, all good things in life take time :D Once you’re here, you will be blown away by the beauty of these unexplored lands!

Visit Ross and Smith Island, which are in reality two islands joined by a sand bar that appears only when the tide is low! Relax on the white sandy shore or run on the beach or snorkel, whatever it may be, do not miss this trip! Everything about this place is simply beautiful!

If you’re in mood for some trekking, head over to Lamiya Beach Bay which is the starting point of Saddle Peak Trek – the highest peak in North Andaman!

Lastly, this one’s optional, you could go see the mud volcanoes in Shyamnagar and limestone caves in Diglipur.

Day 5 - Havelock Island

One of the most popular islands because of its pristine blue beaches with white sandy shores! Rent a motorbike and spend a day (or even 2) exploring the tiny lanes and beautiful beaches on the island. Radhanagar beach is the place to be to watch perhaps one of the most romantic sunsets you’ve ever witnessed! Also, this beach has been named as the most beautiful beach of Asia! If you’re craving for some adventure, head over to Elephant beach where you could snorkel, scuba dive, sea walk or take a glass bottomed boat ride!

Day 6 – Neil Island

A paradise in the place of an island is what you will get on your visit to Neil Island! Clear turquoise water kissing the white sandy shore, thus making this the perfect place to snorkel, scuba dive, kayak or jet ski – simply take your pick! Whether you’re a sunrise or a sunset kinda of person, you can enjoy it with a relaxing walk on the beautiful Sitapur, Laxmanpur, Bharatpur or the Natural Beach!

Day 7 –

Relax and soak in the tropical sun and definitely visit the beach to see the sunset one last time or you could shop in Aberdeen Bazaar at Port Blair!
