The Majlis Cafe, Jumeirah Mosque
Next time in Dubai, try camel milk and to do so, go directly to The Majlis Cafe near the beautiful Jumeira Mosque. They serve amazing pistachio ice cream made from camel milk. Well, that's not all - they also have camel milk shakes, camel milk coffee and camel milk cheese and cream!
Al Mamzar Beach Park
If you are traveling with children, an ideal little spot for them would be Al Mamzar Beach Park. This white beach is for rent with air-conditioned chalets. You can also choose to dive in the pool here. And that's not the end - there are picnic spots with barbecue, bicycle rental, restaurants, snack bars and a skating area.
Al Serkal Avenue
Al Quoz has an industrial warehouse site which is now Dubai's best art and culture scene. It is Al Serkal Avenue. There are tourist galleries, coffee shops to sit in and more to see the world. You can also participate in art classes, exhibitions and workshops.
The Coffee Museum
Take a break from the malls and smokes and visit The Coffee Museum at Al Fahidi Historical District. This unique café-cum-shop-cum-cultural experience will leave you amazed. You can find antiques, barista equipment, and books with a history of coffee, as well as a recipe for roasting coffee beans. So much coffee culture, all in one place!
XVA Art Hotel
Located away in the Al Fahidi district, is the XVA Art Hotel. One could argue that there are innumerable hotels in Dubai, each of which is superior to the other, but this one is special because it has only 14 rooms which are individually and thoughtfully designed. This former residence also has a luxurious XVA Cafe, which interestingly only serves Middle Eastern vegetarian fare. But, what can you be most excited about, especially if you are an art lover - gallery and design shop! Finally, go to the starry roof and you'll know exactly what the floor means.
