Tea gardens of Munnar
Munnar (also known as Kashmir of South India) is an attractive hill station with tea plantations and fragrant flora. It is a witness to the different flavors of tea and the processing of the tea.

Alleppey's Backwaters
The backwaters are synonymous with Kerala, and the most popular place to experience the backwaters of the region is Alleppey or Alappuzha (also known as Venice of the East). This experience extends to villages, paddy fields and small chapels, along the labyrinthine passages of the Palm-Fringe waterway in a houseboat, making it a place on this list.
