If you want to work on getting that great tan - laze around on the beach, sipping your pina colada and if adventure is what you crave for – dive into the pristine water to explore the underwater world or hike your way up on wild trails set in the lush Philippine jungle! There’s something for everyone on this gem of an Island!

Here’s our guide for your travel in the Philippines –

1.  Coron

The sleepy fishing town of Coron can be best described as a postcard town! Mammoth moss covered limestone karsts, bordered by pristine white sand beaches with crystal clear emerald sweet water lakes in the middle! Go island hopping and visit the clean Kayangan Lake, dive in the unrealistically clear jade-green waters of Barracuda Lake, stop over for a lunch-picnic at Banol Beach, just to jump back in and snorkel at the Twin Lagoon. You can hire a scooter and explore the lanes of Coron or hike up Mt Tapyas in time to catch the sun set!

2.  El Nido

The most beautiful (you’ll find us saying this a lot!) part of the Palawan Islands, is El Nido. Characterized by pristine white beaches, incredible limestone formations and stunning islands! Go island hopping to visit few of the 45 different islands in Bacuit Bay that will surely blow your minds away with its unreal beauty! If you’ve had enough of boat rides for the day, continue hopping islands, preferably close to sunset, on a Zipline at Nacpan Beach! Woah! Another way to explore the untouched beauty is to hire a clear kayak and watch the fishes swim under you! Philippines just keeps getting incredible!

3.  Badian, Cebu

My husband and I stumbled upon this beauty on our way to see Cambaias Falls, I cannot remember the name but it was such a great experience.

Looking for a little, actually slightly more than a little adventure? Head over to Badian and go Canyoneering!! Climbing along rock sides, jumping into the clear canyon water, traveling downstream a fast flowing canyon river that leads you right to the edge of Kawasan falls, from where you ultimately jump off a waterfall!! Ah the thrill of it all!!

4.  Bohol

Rounded hills covered in greenery, beautiful terraced rice fields and ofcourse white sandy beaches are what treats the eye when you visit the beautiful island of Bohol. When in Bohol drop in to the Philippine Tarsier Sanctuary to see the endangered Tarsiers which are small monkey like animals unique to the Philippines!

5.  Siquijor

Characterized by stunning waterfalls, crystal clear water and friendly locals - the best way to explore the tiny island of Siquijor is by hiring a motorcycle! When in Siquijor, visit the three leveled STUNNING Cambugahay Falls or the lesser known Lugnason Falls where you can take a dip in the silky blue water! Another beautiful place to visit would be the butterfly sanctuary on the island! Looking for another pump of adrenaline? Jump off from the 10 meter high Salagdoong Cliff into the pristine turquoise water underneath!

6.  Siargao

Siargao has been named as the ‘Most beautiful Island in all of Asia’! Must we say more!? Beautiful beaches, blue lagoons, high waves to surf on, scenic drives and amazing food is the recipe to the perfect island life, and that dear friends is Siargao! Visit the beautiful Magpupungko Rock pools and then head over to surf at Cloud 9 or Pacifico Beach. Our personal favorite has got to be the rope swing in the Maasin river, a tiny village on the island. There is no such thing as too many palm trees on the Philippine islands, hike up to Palm viewpoint to see a sea of Palm trees!
