Munnar

Winding roads punctuated with blooming tea plantations and manicured hills is what you will be greeted with in Munnar! Waking up to the view of endless tea plantations and low clouds looming over the green hills is just a fraction of the magic that Munnar holds. Anayirankal and Mattupetty dam & lake serves breathtaking views of the serene water and also is a picturesque location for a boating trip. You must visit Kolukkumalai tea plantation or one of the many other tea plantations just to watch tea leaves being painstakingly picked and of course buy some for yourself and for your family and friends back home!

Thekkady

A quaint laid back hill station nestled in the dense greenery of the Western Ghats; you shall be welcomed to this town with the smell of the fragrant spices and numerous coffee plantations terraced along its hills! The most famous attraction - Periyar wildlife sanctuary, is a paradise for bird watchers and animal lovers. It houses over 25 species of Elephants and a huge chunk of endangered flora and fauna. Explore this dense sanctuary either by opting for a jeep safari or head on a guided trek through the dense forests or you could opt for an exciting bamboo rafting along the deep trails of the forest!

Kumarakom

After exploring the dewy mountain towns, it is time to get down to sea level and head over to explore the iconic backwaters of Kumarakom; a beautiful coastal town, bordered by coconut trees and canals flowing between the houses and the street, rightly giving it the name - Venice of the East. Kumarakom boasts of some of the most beautiful hotels overlooking the breathtaking backwaters! While in this town, you must surely book an overnight stay in the houseboat, sail around the backwaters, lay back and watch as the sun sets into the back waters welcoming a starry night sky!

Varkala

This bohemian beach town is set in the south of Kerala along the Arabian Sea. Lined with coconut trees and white sandy beaches, Varkala is a hot spot for hippies, youngsters and foreigners! During your visit to this stunning beach town, we recommend you to rise up early and soak in the sun as you head out for a morning walk or yoga on the beach, or catch the waves with your surf boards and in the evening, pull out your lounge chairs, simply lay back and watch the sun drown into the horizon.

Athirapally waterfalls

A day trip to visit Athirapally falls is a must, let us tell you why. Athirapally falls is the largest waterfall in the state, falling from a height of 80 metres! We recommend you to take on the short trek along a well pebbled path down the hills that opens at the base of this majestic waterfall. Just follow the sound of the gushing water as you walk down the path and be greeted with mist sprayed on you from the sheer force with which the water hits the rocks! A sight of grandiose and majesty – that’s what is Athirapally falls!
